Our Products and Services

 

Our online products are sourced from Ontario Flower Growers Coop to support our local farms, we do also import premium flowers from outside of Canada when they are unavailable locally, for example, exquisite roses from Ecuador and Colombia.

Fresh Cut Flowers vs. Potted Indoor Plants

Cut flowers are lovely when they arrive, but they're an ephemeral gift, they will inevitably wither and die after a handful of days. A potted plant, on the other hand, can thrive for even years if you properly cared for. Living plants add another benefit to your home or office-plants clean the air, as the process carbon dioxide, they emit oxygen, they also absorb many of the chemicals that may be circulating in the air. 

 

Delivery Policy

All products are personally hand-delivered by industry professionals, and we make every effort to ensure your order is delivered on time.

Usually, we deliver your order on the following days, we don't usually accept same-day delivery order. For any special requests, please email info@riverfloral.com.

Regretfully, we are unable to guarantee time of delivery to hotels, hospitals, military bases or cemeteries. To request a specific delivery time, please type it in the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will try our best to accommodate.

Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance to ensure the flowers are received on time.

Please note that an extra service fee is applied to all flower and plant orders delivered at rush delivery or a specific time. This base service fee is subject to change during peak holiday periods.

  • Delivery to Hospitals

 

Our delivery professionals are experienced in making deliveries to hospitals. When placing your order, please be sure to include the hospital name and telephone number, the name of the recipient and the room number or ward of the recipient.

We will send your gift bouquet in accordance with facility procedures, as most hospitals do not allow florists to personally deliver to individual rooms. Please note that many ICU patients are not permitted to receive flowers. Please check with the hospital before placing your order.

  • Recipient Not Home

 

If you have specific instructions for the delivery, please note them in the Special Delivery Instructions field during checkout. If the recipient is not at home when a delivery is attempted, we will:

  • Call the recipient to re-schedule an appropriate delivery time

  • Or leave a note on the recipient's door asking them to contact us to schedule a delivery time

Substitution Policy

Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers are necessary due to temporary, regional availability issues. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, our experienced florists will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.

Our website is using security technology to ensure that your order will be safe and secure. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal and Alipay. 

Order-Related E-mails

 

Shortly after you place an order, you'll receive an Order Confirmation e-mail. Please put this in a safe place, as it will include all the details of your order, including an order number, in the event you need to contact us. To show our appreciation, you'll receive a Thank You e-mail from us once your order has been delivered.
